There are moments in life when you never expect to be asking for help — and this is one of them. Obsidian is only one year old. She is still a baby, still learning the world, still full of curiosity, love, and that pure joy that only a young dog carries. She should be worrying about toys and walks — not fighting for her life.

Obsidian is currently suffering from a serious intestinal blockage. The blockage is preventing her from being able to eat or drink anything at all, and worse, it is poisoning her from the inside. Without intervention, her condition will continue to worsen rapidly. Right now, the veterinary team is working around the clock to stabilize Obsidian so she can safely undergo emergency surgery to remove the blockage. These costs have added up quickly and unexpectedly.

Jenny has done everything in her power to get Obsidian the care she needs, but this is more than one person can carry alone.
