Help save Nugget's life and regain his mobility.

Hello, my name is Nugget and I am a beautiful 1 year and 9 month old Toy Poodle. I am very active, loving, gentle, and playful. My owners are three children who care for me and love me very much, and my human mommy. I have been with them since I was 6 weeks old.

My life was very normal and happy until I had an episode of diarrhea and my mom, scared, took me to the vet because I wouldn't stop. There, the doctor was very rough with me. When he examined me, he hurt me inside, which caused an episode of bleeding that lasted for a few weeks. With medication, a different vet helped me overcome those horrible months of pain, although after that, I couldn't walk well, not like before.

Just when we thought everything was over, suddenly, my back legs. They began to lose strength. I could no longer stand, as my legs were shaking, and I had to lie down. I couldn't climb stairs or pee without getting my paws wet. One day, I simply fell while trying to greet my human. I was still able to stand, but things got worse, and now I can't walk or control my bowel movements. I have no appetite. I started bleeding again when I tried to poop, and I have diarrhea again. The pain medication is very strong, and I'm underweight, as I don't want to eat or drink water. My owners are doing everything they can. They've bought everything that can help me, from a new bed, vitamins, medicine, etc., but unfortunately, I'm getting worse rapidly.

This is something very sudden. Everything that's happened since I was normal until now (after overcoming the initial event with the first vet) escalated from zero to one hundred in less than two weeks. My human mommy already took me to the vet as soon as she saw my symptoms, but I need assistance at a larger hospital since my vet says my case is complex and everything points to being neurological. The referral takes a long time for them to see me. The nearest appointment for the hospital to see me is in 5 months. The only option they give me is to go to the emergency room for an MRI and spinal fluid measurement and then surgery, since everything points to me having IVDD (herniated disc).

The costs of going to the emergency room in this way are very high and must be covered immediately. An initial payment is required upon admission to the hospital, and the remaining costs for the hospital, surgery, anesthesia, medicine, tests, hospitalization, rehabilitation, etc., must be paid upon discharge. That's why my mom, my human siblings, and I would like to ask for empathy and help with this situation we're facing today. Hola, mi nombre es Nugget y soy un hermoso Poodle Toy de 1 año y 9 meses de esdad, soy muy activo, amoroso, noble, jugueton, mis dueños son tres niños que me cuidan y me aman mucho y mi mamita humana, estoy con ellos desde mis 6 semanas de vida.

Mi vida era muy normal y alegre, hasta que tuuve un episodio de diarrea y mi mami, asustada me llevo al veterinario ya que no paraba, alli el doctor fue muy brusco conmigo, al examinarme, me lastimo por dentro, lo que causo un espisodio de sangrado, que duro por unas semanas, con medicamentos, otra veterinaria distinta, me ayudo a superar esos horribles meses de dolor, aunque luego de eso, no caminaba bien, no como antes.

Cuando pensabamos que todo se habia superado, de repente, mis patitas traceras. comenzaron a perder fuerza, ya no podia estar de pie, ya que mis piernas temblaban y me te nia que acostar, no podia subir escaleras, ni hacer pipi. sin mojarme las patitas, un dia, simplemente me cai al tratar de saludar a mi humana, aun podia pararme, pero esto fue empeorando y ahora, no puedo caminar ni controlo mis esfinteres, no tengo apetito, volvi a sangrar cundo intento hacer popis y tengo diarrea nuevamente, la medicina del dolor es muy furte y estoy bajo de peso, ya que no deseo comer ni beber agua, mis dueños hacen todo lo que esta a su alcance, han comprado todo lo que me pueda ayudar, desde nueva cama, vitaminas, medicinas, etc, pero lamentablmente, estoy empeorando rapidamente.

Esto es algo muy repentino, todo lo sucedido desde que estaba normal hasta ahora (luego de haber superado el primer suceso con la primera veterinaria), fue algo que escalo de cero a cien, en menos de dos semanas.

Mi mamita humana, ya me llevo al veterinario, tan pronto vio mis sintomas, pero necesito asistenci en un hospital de mayor embergadura, ya que mi veterinari dice que mi caso es complejo y que todo apunta a ser neurologico, el referido tarda mucho para que me puedan ver, la cita mas cercana, para que el hospital me vea, es para dentro de 5 meses y la unica opciocion que me dan, es precentarme a la sala de emergencia para que me hagan un MRI y una medicion del liquido raquideo y posteriormente una cirugia, ya que todo apunta a que tengo IVDD (hernia discal).

Los costos de ir a la sala de emergencias de esa forma, son muy elevados y deben ser cubiertos de inmediato, un pago inicial al ingresar al hospital y el resto de los costos de hospital, cirugia, anestecia, medicina, examenes, hospitalizacion, rehabilitacion, etc, deben ser pgados al momento de salir del hospital.

Por eso mi mami, mis hermanitos humanos y yo, queremos solicitar la empatia y la ayuda para con esta situacion que hoy enfrentamos, de todos quienes nos puedan leer, de que por favor nos regalen una donacion, una oracion y que por favor, compartan con todo el mundo, para que asi lleguemos a cubrir, todo lo que mi recuperacion implica y pueda volver a tener una vida en calidad, puedo quedar en silla de ruedas, pero un sere feliz.
