Niko is my 6-year-old tricolor border collie mix and truly the sweetest companion anyone could ask for. He loves bacon, rolling around in the snow, and swimming whenever he gets the chance. Our bond is something I can't put into words—he's been by my side through some of my hardest moments, helping me cope with depression and anxiety. The thought of losing my best friend is heartbreaking.

Recently, Niko was diagnosed with a tumor next to his pancreas. The news was devastating, and now he needs urgent surgery to save his life. As many pet owners know, these kinds of surgeries are incredibly expensive, and I simply don't have the funds to cover it all right now. The total cost is overwhelming, but I am determined to do everything I can to give Niko the chance he deserves.
