Nemo is my sweet 5-month-old orange kitten, and he is my family. Watching him go through this health crisis has been heartbreaking. Over the past several days, Nemo has suffered from severe vomiting, diarrhea, and pain. After neutering him a few days ago, I had to rush him to the veterinarian. I learned that he may have a blockage or even a perforation in his internal organs. The doctors have recommended exploratory surgery and extensive hospitalization to find out what’s causing his symptoms and to give him the best chance at recovery. This experience has turned my world upside down. I’ve spent two nights and two days awake, monitoring Nemo nonstop and doing everything I can to comfort him. It’s been emotionally exhausting and has made it difficult to work or focus on anything else. Nemo is family, and I can’t imagine life without him. He also has a brother, Rocket, at home who misses him dearly and is waiting for him to come back healthy. Nemo has already received vaccines, x-rays, ultrasounds, bloodwork, and medications to manage his pain and nausea. The next steps include more testing, possible surgery, and continued hospitalization. The costs are overwhelming, and I’m reaching out for help so Nemo can get the care he needs without financial limitations. Every contribution will go directly toward his surgery, hospital stay, medications, and follow-up care. Your support means everything to me and will help keep my little family together.
