Hi everyone, my name is Amir, and I’m fundraising for my dog Nala, who suddenly became critically ill and is currently hospitalized in the emergency ICU.

Just a few days ago, Nala started showing unusual symptoms including bleeding gums, loss of appetite, rapid breathing, weakness, bruising/red spots on her stomach, and blood in her eye. After emergency testing, her bloodwork showed that her platelet levels had dropped dangerously low, and her condition became life-threatening very quickly.

The emergency specialists currently believe she is suffering from severe ITP (Immune Thrombocytopenia), a serious condition where the immune system attacks and destroys platelets, causing dangerous internal bleeding and severe anemia. She has already required blood transfusions, intensive monitoring, ultrasounds, X-rays, blood testing, steroids, and additional immune suppression treatments to keep her stable while doctors fight to save her life.

Nala is more than just a dog to our family. She is our baby, our emotional support, and a huge part of our lives. Seeing her connected to monitors and fighting this battle so suddenly has been devastating emotionally and financially.

The emergency hospital costs are becoming overwhelming very quickly, and we are doing absolutely everything possible to give her the best chance to survive and recover.

Every donation, no matter how small, truly helps and means the world to us. If we are fortunate enough not to need the full amount raised, any remaining funds will be donated to dogs and families in need of emergency veterinary care.
