My best friend's brother Naeem suffered a severe motorbike accident in Pakistan on 21st January 2025 resulting in a critical head injury. After surgery and 25 days in the hospital, he remains in a coma and requires intensive home care, rehabilitation, and three pending surgeries. His family is struggling with the overwhelming medical costs, and we are appealing for your support to ease their financial burden. We are reaching out to share the story of our dear friend's youngest brother Naeem, a 32-year-old bright and cheerful individual from Pakistan, who has faced an unimaginable tragedy. On January 21, 2025, Naeem was involved in a severe motorbike accident while returning home from work in Karachi, Pakistan. The accident resulted in a critical head injury, changing his life and the lives of his loved ones forever.

Naeem was rushed to two different hospitals due to complications from his head injury. Unfortunately his condition was very bad and both hospitals turned him away. Finally he was admitted to Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi, one of the best private hospitals in the city. But he had already lost a significant amount of blood and underwent life-saving surgery immediately. Surgeons had to remove parts of his forehead and back skull to save his life. He is in a medically induced coma and currently remains in hospital requiring 24/7 medical care.

His medical bills have already reached 88,00,000 PKR (approximately 25200 GBP / 30,700 USD) and increasing daily, yet his recovery journey is far from over.

Current Condition:

Naeem remains in a coma, and doctors cannot predict how long it will take for him to recover, it could be months or longer.

He is currently unable to speak, sit, stand, walk, eat, or drink independently. He can only partially move his fingers at times.

Three additional surgeries are pending:

1. Surgery for both eyes (his vision is still unknown).

2. Surgery on his left jawbone.

3. Surgery on his head.

Urgent Needs:

Naeem requires intensive home care and rehabilitation, which comes with significant costs. His family needs support to cover:

Medical equipment: Specialized bed, oxygen tanks, pulse and heart rate monitors.

24/7 nursing care: Skilled staff to assist with his daily needs.

Rehabilitation: Long-term therapy to help him regain mobility and independence.

Pending surgeries: Funds for the three critical surgeries he still needs.
