Hi, my name is Erica, and I am reaching out with the heaviest heart I've ever had. My dog Rajah is not "just a pet"; he is my son, my companion, and my best friend. He has been with me through thick and thin, giving me unconditional love every single day. Anyone who knows me knows that my entire life revolves around my boys!

Recently, Rajah developed a tumor. In his pain and confusion, he bit at it, leaving an open wound. Now the wound is badly infected — it is bleeding, has pus, and the tissue has started to turn black. The smell and the pain he is in tell me just how serious this is. I am terrified, because without urgent veterinary care, the infection could spread and become life-threatening.

I have an appointment set, but the treatment and surgery he needs are far more than I can afford on my own. The vets estimate the costs to be around $6-8k, which includes emergency care, cleaning and removal of dead tissue, medications, and possible tumor removal.

I've been doing everything I can at home to keep him comfortable until he can be seen, but I know this is beyond what I can manage without help.

Rajah deserves the chance to live, to heal, and to continue being the sweet soul that has brought me so much comfort and joy.
