I am asking for help on behalf of my big sister. She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and it has been a long battle that seemed almost won. After surgery and chemo and so many lung and stomach drains she is still fighting, but we're now experiancing yet another obstacle in this battle. My sister was able to get transportation from Kansas City to MD Anderson hospital in Texas thanks to donated funds, to further help her to take care of a life threatening bowel obstruction. They were able to clear the last one and the doctors here did not have the resources to take care of it. Now after re-assessment due to lack of care in Kansas City the cancer has spread. There is a new chemo but of course Insurance is not approving the appeal. The chemo is $20k a month and they denied it at first run so I either need $60k in donations NOW or an approved appeal.She will die without this.
