Help Save My Sister Khatuna’s Life

Hello, my name is Tamara, and I live in the United States. I’m reaching out today with a heartfelt request for my beloved sister, Khatuna, who lives in the Republic of Georgia.

Khatuna is 46 years old, a kind and resilient woman, and a single mother. A year and a half ago, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Due to the limited medical resources in Georgia, she had to seek treatment in Germany, where dedicated doctors were able to save her life through surgery and chemotherapy.

Unfortunately, we recently received devastating news — her cancer has returned. Once again, Georgia’s healthcare system cannot provide the advanced treatment she needs. German doctors have given us hope: Khatuna urgently requires HIPEC chemotherapy to fight this recurrence and save her life.

The treatment and rehabilitation costs are around 90,000 euros. Through a fundraiser held in Georgia, we have managed to raise 60,000 euros. However, we are still short by 30,000 euros, and time is critical.

The situation in Georgia has worsened recently due to political tensions and conflict with Russia, making it even harder for families like ours to cope. Khatuna lost her job and has no means to afford this lifesaving treatment on her own.

Today, I am kindly asking for your support. Every donation, no matter the size, will help give my sister a second chance at life. We lost our mother to Ovarian Cancer in 2020 and this time we have to win!
