Help Save My Shop, My Art, and My Cats

My name is Sarina. I’ve been a tattoo artist for 13 years, a florist, and a painter. I built my studio — Paper Crane Tattoo Company & Chingu Flora — from the ground up with nothing but hustle and love for my craft.

This shop isn’t just a business. It’s where I create, and where I pour everything I have into clients and community. I really need a home to live in that will provide some stability.

Right now, I’m behind on rent and bills. Bookings slowed down, I had a neighbor 3 doors down from me intentionally go up to my clients all last month and before that in order to persuade them not to get tattooed by me. She’s attacked me and verbally assaulted several clients All because she blames me for the trash behind the shop when in reality it’s been the homeless people who have been causing all of the trash problems; rummaging around littering and crude waste dumping and even with the police report i had to file along with a cease and desist order I haven’t received any help in the matter. She was going as far as blocking people in their cars with hers so that they were left without a choice but to be confronted by this daycare provider.

I’ve been applying for loans, but nothing has come through in time. I’ve given everything I can — tattoos, flowers, prints, community service — but I’m at risk of losing the roof over me and my animals.

I’m asking for help to catch up, keep the lights on, and keep creating. Every dollar raised will go directly to:

Rent & utilities to keep the shop/home stable

a play to move in preferably smaller home not apartment so that I can garden again.

Care for my cats (food, litter, safety)

Supplies so I can keep tattooing, painting, and selling floral work

An operational vehicle because I’m missing money and opportunities by not have the availability to travel after mine was damaged and looted by loitering bums in the night .

This isn’t charity — it’s a lifeline so I can keep fighting. I’m still tattooing, still selling flowers, still hustling. I’m not giving up.

I’ve always given my art and my energy to others. Now I’m asking for a little help back to get through this storm. It’s been a very difficult year for me and it’s affected my health drastically but due to the situation I’m in, taking time off for any reason is just out of the question. Every day I fear for the future of what’s to come, and I am frightened at the thought that I will be facing eviction and have nowhere to go and with the upcoming months being the coldest, this has me very concerned because without shelter or a vehicle and my moral obligation to my pets, I’ll be forced to put the weight of my burdens onto my friends that have more than enough on their plates as it is. Nobody alone can afford to carry me through this but with some help and hard work I still have hope that I can turn this around and improve my situation.
