In need of emergency assistance

I moved to Raleigh, NC 9 years ago and lived  in the same apartment complex for the entire time.  I am raising money for myself so I can avoid being evicted.   I was informed by the judge this morning that I have 10 days to come up with $2500 for past due rent, if I don't pay me and my pet will be homeless. 
I was laid off from my job at the end of March due to my position being being closed.  I have searched for work diligently but have been unsuccessful finding a job and unemployment has run its course.

The unemployment I was receiving was very little  and was used to stay afloat with my electric and living expenses which are still behind .   My parents live in NC as well but they are elderly and cannot offer any assistance.

I  pet sit for numerous people here in the complex  but the work is never steady. 

I have always taken care of myself but my circumstances have drastically changed.   This is something that anyone would dread to ever have to do and I wouldn't be asking for help if I was not in dire need.

Every little bit counts and can add up to at least keep a roof over my head.
