I hate asking for help, I'm usually the one providing the help, but I'm literally at rock bottom. April 30th, my house caught fire due to electrical issues and I lost about 90% of everything, liver transplant anti-rejection meds included. I had no luck replacing them, as I was in the process of transitioning care from VA to PA. I didn't have my meds for 6 weeks and ended up in ICU on 6/5 because my body was rejecting my "unrecognizable" liver due to missing the medications. Survival wasn't guaranteed, but my motto "the power to live will always outweigh the ability to die" still stands true. I missed three weeks of work after the fire and was hospitalized for two weeks shortly after. My paychecks were pretty much non-existent during that time frame, but, with my sister's help, we managed to stay afloat and on track with bills. Well, most bills. Unfortunately, my storage didn't get paid for two months and is now going to be auctioned. With the monthly payments I missed and the fees associated, it's a little over $1400. I have $500 of this, but will never be able to come up with the remaining money by the end of this week. I really wouldn't even care, but it has EVERYTHING that my parents left behind when they died and I can't fathom losing that. I appreciate all donations and all prayers, I surely need them. Thank you sooo much!!
