Hi everyone,

My name is Cecilia. I am reaching out for help to save my mum Alice Cheptum who has been battling kidney failure since 2016 and she is currently in urgent need of a kidney transplant.

Over the years, several attempts have been made to initiate the transplant process. First with her brother and later with her two daughters but unfortunately, they were unsuccessful.

Due to a condition called HLA sensitization, her body had developed antibodies that made it extremely difficult to find a compatible donor, even within her immediate family.

In recent months, her condition has significantly deteriorated, prompting another attempt, this time with her son and we are hopeful.

She has been referred to get treatment in India to perform the desensitisation procedure (due to HLA) and later transplant process.

We have come together in solidarity to contribute and support Alice during this critical time.

Our target for this fundraising is 22000€ that will cover the Desensitisation and transplant expenses.
