With heavy hearts, we are sharing the devastating news of the sudden passing of our beloved mother, Mrs. Chhaya Trivedi, during what was meant to be a joyful family visit to Canada.

Our mother travelled from India to Canada to spend time with us, but her visit turned tragic when she suddenly suffered a massive brain aneurysm and haemorrhage. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and, despite the doctors’ best efforts, she passed away on September 17, 2026.

This unimaginable loss has left our family not only heartbroken but also facing overwhelming financial stress. Because my mother was visiting Canada, she did not have medical insurance. Her emergency hospitalization, life-saving neurological treatment, intensive care, life support, and multiple medical procedures have resulted in high medical bills maybe over $100K.

As an international student living in Canada, I simply do not have the resources to cover this enormous and unexpected expense. Along with the costs of her care, we are also facing expenses for her funeral and arrangements to bring her home.
