"Help save my mother and brother"

Hi all, my name is Ben and I am fundraising for the Desai Family.

They were excited when the year 2023 started, having planned things and set a goal to live a happy life. However, they soon learned the sad truth of life when on January 13th, 2023, his mother's health started deteriorating due to asthma, causing breathlessness and drowsiness. My friend's brother (Anjan) called and described the mother's health crisis, causing my friend and wife to freak out and suggest getting primary care. His mother was admitted to a small hospital on January 16th, 2023, but things started turning bad when she gradually went unconscious, and her CO2 level in blood was discovered to be almost 90, with the normal range being between 35 to 45. The small hospital doctor suggested shifting her to a government hospital in Vadodara on January 18th, where her kidney and liver eventually stopped working and her blood-sugar level spiked. My friend stopped work and caught a flight to India on Jan 20th upon learning of his mother's situation and found her in the worst health condition, leading to her admission to a private multispecialty facility due to Critical Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and multi-organ failure caused by previous hospital negligence. His mother's condition improved but remained critical, requiring dialysis and insulin, leaving her bedridden and breathless. My friend had to return to the US, only to receive another call from his father on March 7th, informing him that his younger brother was sick and vomiting. My friend's brother was found to have a brain tumor and underwent immediate surgery, with further chemotherapy and radiotherapy needed. His mother will require rehabilitation at a cost of 800 to 1500 USD per month, while my friend's brother is unfit to work and requires expensive treatment, leading to a total expenditure of over USD 30,000, with further treatment funding being uncertain.
