Hi everyone,
My name is Darryl and I’m humbly asking for your help. My mom, Emelinda Viloria, is currently admitted at Philippine Heart Center, where she’s been confined for over a week now, waiting for an urgent heart operation.
She was seen by three different doctors, and they all confirmed the same thing. She has Complete Heart Block, meaning her heart isn’t beating properly anymore. On top of that, she also has high blood pressure and diabetes, which makes the situation even more critical.
She urgently needs a dual chamber pacemaker implant, and the estimated total cost for the procedure including the device, hospital stay, medications, and professional fees is around ₱550,000 (CAD $13k+).
It breaks my heart that I’m far away from her right now. I’m currently working in Canada and I just graduated from college. I’m doing my best to help from here but we can’t do this alone. That’s why I’m reaching out to ask for your kindness and support.
