Hello my name is Joaquin Gonzalez, I am 10 years old, and I need your help to pay for my sick puppy Oliver.
With permission from my parents, I am able to share my story with you and ask you to help my puppy. Oliver is 2 months old and very sick. When I got Oliver on July 11th from a local breeder he was very happy and looked normal. We took him to our vet for his physical two days after, and he did great.
That changed the next day, Oliver was not as playful nor active, he wanted to sleep or lay down most of the time. My Mom took him to the VCA Animal Hospital in Lawndale that night thinking that the flea medication given to him the day before was making him sick. It was not that, it was worse. He came back positive with the horrible Parvo virus. He has been in the hospital since then fighting for his life. His health is different every day, the vet said he can have an “okay” day and a few bad days. Oliver is getting the treatment he needs to help save his life. The vet is hopeful that he will make it. I pray he does, I have hope and faith the he will be back home with me and play with me like a normal puppy would.
My parents trusted and believed the breeder we got him from, when he assured us that Oliver had his first set of vaccines and gave us the documents, but it was a lie. We can’t get ahold of the breeder anymore.
In in the meantime my parents have to pay for Oliver’s daily hospitalization, fluid therapy, medications, nasal feedings, Doctor supervision, and more. Each day of care is being charged. We currently owe the hospital a little over $8,500.00.
I ask you to please help me and my parents pay for my little Oliver's medical bills. Any amount is a BIG HELP. I told my Mom, that she needs to believe that people are kind and generous.
