I am reaching out for help as I face a critical situation with my home. In October 2021, I suffered a stroke that has left me on disability. Since then, my life has been a series of doctor's appointments and medical tests, including MRIs and CT scans. These medical challenges have made it difficult to keep up with my property taxes.

My father and his friends built this home in the early 60's. It's an old home but a good home. I promised my mother before she passed that I would do anything I could to keep our home and property. I must do that. My siblings and I were raised here.

Currently, I owe property taxes for 2023 and 2024. This amount must be paid by Tuesday, May 6th, to prevent my home from being auctioned at 8:30 am that morning. Losing my home would be devastating, and I am doing everything I can to prevent that from happening.
