Help Save Bear’s Leg – Urgent Surgery Needed

Hi, my name is Johnathon, and I’m asking for help to get my dog, Bear, the surgery he desperately needs.

Recently, Bear suffered a severe injury when his back left leg was accidentally run over while we were outside. He yelped in pain, and when I turned around, I saw a trail of blood leading to him as he tried to limp uphill with his leg flopping behind him.

At the emergency vet, they confirmed that his Achilles tendon was completely severed. The only way to save his leg is surgery to reconnect the tendon ends. For now, they stopped the bleeding, closed the outer skin with medical tape, and placed his leg in a splint to keep it stable. But they won’t proceed with the surgery until I can pay the full cost upfront.

I just moved to Michigan two weeks ago to be closer to family after leaving a 10-year controlling relationship, and I’m working to rebuild my life. I’ve applied for financing, but I was denied, and now I’m out of options. Bear has been my rock through everything, and now he needs me more than ever. I can’t imagine life without him.

Every donation will go directly toward Bear’s surgery first. If there are any funds left, they will be used for his physical therapy, if needed, to ensure he makes a full recovery.
