Hi, I’m Isabella. My 4 year old, Rocky, is my best friend and my whole world. He’s so gentle, full of love, and the happiest little soul, until suddenly, on Tuesday 9/9/25, he became critically ill.

At first, the vets thought it was a spinal problem, but after further tests and emergency surgery, they discovered his digestive system had shut down and was diagnosed with ILEUS. That is the inability of the intestine (bowel) to contract normally and move waste out of the body. We believe he was poisoned through walking on pesticide and licking his paws to clean them. He has been in hospital on a drip, unable to eat properly, in constant pain and cramping, with his little body fighting to recover.

Seeing him go from a happy, playful boy to trembling, unable to use his back legs, and now standing lifeless in the hospital has been absolutely heartbreaking. He is so anxious being away from home, and I know he is scared without my family and I.

We are doing everything possible to save him, but the medical bills are overwhelming. The surgery, hospital stay, medications, and ongoing care are already thousands of dollars, and he’s not out of danger yet.
