Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d be in a position where I’d have to ask for help, but right now, I don’t have much of a choice.

My dog, Cairo, has been with me since he was just six weeks old. He’s my everything — my best friend, my family, my literal child. A few days ago, he suddenly got very sick, and after rushing him to the emergency vet, I learned that he had a ruptured spleen caused by a tumor that burst internally. The only way to save his life was an urgent splenectomy (spleen removal surgery). I’ve attached some of the bills in the photos so you can see the costs I’m trying to cover.

Cairo made it through the surgery (thank God), but the medical bills have completely wiped me out. Between the emergency care, surgery, and post-op treatment, I’m deep in debt and trying to stay afloat. I’ve been working hard at my current job, applying everywhere for a second one, but haven’t had any luck yet, and right now, even the basics are becoming overwhelming.

I’m not someone who’s ever been comfortable asking for money, but this situation is beyond what I can handle alone. Cairo means the world to me, and I just want to make sure I can cover his care and recovery without losing everything in the process.
