Help save my DAUGHTER(Masters student,UNT Denton)

(Current facility 10/14/2022: Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation - Dallas) I never imagined my 1st visit to the USA would be to see my daughter on a hospital bed in an emergency room. This is any parent’s worst nightmare, and I pray to God that no parent should go through what my wife and I are going through.

My daughter, Neeraja, came to the US in 2021 to pursue Masters in CS at the University of North Texas Denton. Unfortunately, just 10 days before her graduation, she met with a fatal accident on July 29th, 2022. No fault of her own.

Her head took the hit, and it resulted in brain strokes. 25% of the brain areas got strokes, including the brain stem. The brain stem is responsible for regulating heart rate, breathing, sleeping, and eating.

2 major surgeries had happened over the last 2 weeks. She is still on a ventilator in the ICU. Doctors are trying their best and they said, “This is a brain-related injury, and we have it to take it day by day by keeping her under constant observation”. Even they cannot confidently talk about her situation, given the criticality of the case.
