My name is Festas, and I am writing this with urgency and hope in my heart. My father, a 47-year-old mechanic based in Langata, Nairobi, is currently fighting for his life after suffering a serious stroke due to high blood pressure. He was found nearly unconscious at his work station and rushed to Langata Hospital.
A CT scan revealed internal bleeding in the brain caused by a ruptured blood vessel. As a result, he is now paralyzed on the left side of his body. Doctors have recommended immediate transfer to Kenyatta University Referral Hospital, where he can receive specialized neurological care and intensive treatment.
He needs this transfer URGENTLY, but we are required to deposit KES 300 000 (about EUR 2 037) for his treatment to begin.
My dad has worked tirelessly as a mechanic his entire life, and has always gone above and beyond to help those around him, fixing vehicles for neighbors at no cost when they were struggling, and being there when others needed him most. Now, he is the one in need.
As his family, we are doing everything we can, unfortunately the costs are far beyond what we can manage alone.
The Funds will cover Admission and initial deposit at Kenyatta Hospital.
