My brother has been battling a severe and painful condition for the past three years now, and we are now urgently raising funds to get him the treatment he desperately needs.
He was infected with Streptobacillus, a rare and dangerous bacterial infection. At the time, doctors were unsure of what was happening to him. By the time he was diagnosed, the infection had already caused serious damage. His wound which is non-healing, became badly infected, resulting in tissue decay, severe swelling, and water retention in his leg. Despite trying multiple treatments, his condition has only worsened. Recently, he’s been diagnosed with Necrotizing Fasciitis & Osseous Metaplasia.
Today, his wound is larger, deeper, and more painful than ever. He has become physically weak and emotionally exhausted. The only option now is urgent surgery in India, where specialized care is available. But we can’t get him there without your help.
