Help save my brother Mark

Hi my name is Julie, and I’m fundraising for my brother Mark. My brother Mark was in a work related car accident 6 years ago which resulted in his needing over ten surgeries. Many of which sadly failed. While undergoing a spinal surgery a tumor was uncovered that led him to need radiation. Mark had difficulty doing his job as a truck driver due to all of his injuries whilst still needing additional surgeries. Needless to say he was unable to procure work in this condition. Flash forward to 2025 and my brother now has a slew of diagnoses that have become unmanageable and have left him with limited options. My brother has diabetes and is often insulin resistant. He ended up in the hospital with keto acidosis and almost died on more than one occasion. He has ended up in the hospital with sepsis from endless injections and constantly needing more without resolve. On an average day his blood sugar is anywhere from six hundred to one thousand. He has tried every recommendation doctors have given him from specialists all over the country and is still yet to recover. He is not a candidate for many surgeries that would help rectify these issues because he is morbidly obese and at risk for heart failure with any surgery. Anesthesia is not permitted at this time. Every day we are worried if the next hospital visit will be his last. In addition to his heart failure diagnosis he has torn ligaments and tendons all throughout his legs which prevent him from being able to excersize and while he has dieted it is not enough. We have one option at this time that the doctors cohesively believe is his only path to recovery. Embryonic stem cell transfusions priced at roughly 10,000.00 per visit (including the necessary IV bags) is the best recommendation and sadly not covered by insurance in any capacity. He needs at least two shots to recover his ligaments and tendons. It is by way of these injections that he will walk and even possibly run again. We believe this will allow him the ability to lose the necessary weight, regulate the diabetes and reduce his risks of heart failure related death. After 6 years of not walking and having a limited to almost non existent quality of life and deteriorating future all we want is for my brother to have a chance to be happy and healthy. My brother is unable to fund his health as his finances have been fully applied to his previous ailments and surgeries and ongoing health issues.
