Hi, my name is Luke, and I’m desperately trying to save my dog, Pluto. Over the last two days, she has suddenly become extremely unwell. She went from being her playful, happy self to collapsing, becoming disoriented, weak, and unable to interact normally. Her heart rate and temperature have both been dangerously high, and her white blood cell count keeps rising, meaning she is fighting something serious.

We’ve already taken her to two different vet hospitals. They’ve done bloodwork, an ultrasound, urine tests, toxin screening, and now X-rays — but they still cannot figure out what is causing her to deteriorate. The vets believe she may have a lodged grass seed, an infection deep in her throat, or another hidden issue that requires advanced imaging, possibly a CT scan.

We’ve already spent over $3,000 from yesterday, and I’ve put down every last dollar I have. I don’t have pet insurance, no access to credit, Afterpay, or payment plans. I’ve told the vets I have no more money, and without more funds, they will have no choice but to send her home — still sick, still suffering, still without answers.

I’m terrified. I just want my girl to get the care she needs before it becomes too late. She deserves a chance.
