Help save my daughter's best friend Pepper cat!

A little over 4 years ago, my daughter Kaitlin rescued three very sick kittens from the streets. The tiniest, who she named Pepper, was barely moving and suffering from a severe respiratory infection. She nursed her back to health and they became inseparable...Pepper plays with her, naps next to her, and even plays in the water with her in the shower!
Kaitlin is 10 years old and an advocate for animals everywhere. She works with a rescue organization (Fur Angel Foundation) and runs their nonprofit humane education program (Education Initiative ) where she and her team visit schools to educate others on how to be kind and compassionate pet caregivers. She has taught over 1,500 students and is a proud member of the Association of Professional Humane Educators . She has been featured on the news multiple times, has helped raise thousands of dollars for rescue animals in Hawaii, and has even teamed up with the AED Institute of America to create the only Pet First Aid and CPR class available on the island.
Now Kaitlin needs your help to raise money for Pepper, who has come down with pancreatitis and several other issues that the doctors are still trying to diagnose. She was hospitalized from May 19th-22nd and came home after her fever went down and she began eating and drinking. She was on antibiotics and seemed to be getting better, but a few days later her fever spiked again, she was lethargic and stopped eating and drinking. We took her back in today (May 28th) and they’re now running more tests and keeping her overnight until they can diagnose what’s wrong with her.
Our family has paid over $5k in her medical bills so far and we wish to continue to treat her conditions, but the bills are adding up quickly. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and my (mom) own personal health issues, I’m in a high-risk category and am not working.
We've always helped and supported Kaitlin in her endeavor to help animals since she was tiny. Now this rescuer needs the help of the community to save her cat. Even if you're not in a position to help out monetarily, sharing this story and page would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
