My name is Janell Dunn, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my beloved Shih Tzu. He was recently attacked by an English bulldog, and as a result of this traumatic incident, he suffered a fractured jaw. After veterinary evaluation, I’ve been advised that he will need surgical repair in order to heal properly and continue to have a good quality of life.

My dog has been by my side for the past seven years, and he is so much more than a pet—he is my emotional support companion. I got him just a few months after the passing of my mother in 2019, during one of the most painful and challenging times of my life. Since then, he has been my comfort, my stability, and my constant source of emotional support through grief, stress, and personal hardship.

Seeing him in pain has been absolutely devastating. The thought of losing him due to circumstances beyond our control is heartbreaking. All I want is to give him the medical care he desperately needs so he can heal and continue living a happy, healthy life by my side for many more years.

Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery and related medical care is overwhelming, and I cannot do this alone. I am humbly asking for help—whether through donations, sharing this fundraiser, or offering support in any form. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to giving him the care he deserves.
