Urgent Life-Saving Cancer Treatment for Casey
Please help me save my baby girl’s life

I am going ahead with all of Casey’s treatment, but I urgently need help to cover the heavy vet bills. I have already paid for her surgery and diagnostics entirely on my own to save her life. Now I need support to cover chemotherapy and ongoing care so she can continue living a happy, healthy life. With this treatment, Casey will be comfortable, pain-free, and fully supported. Without it, she would suffer a slow and painful decline. She can be saved, and every dollar donated will go directly toward her treatment to give her the best chance at a long, happy life. I cannot do this alone — your help will make a real difference.
About Me (Rachel):
Hi, my name is Rachel, and I am fundraising to save my dog Casey’s life. Casey is my baby, my everything, and my best friend. She means the world to me and has been my constant through some of the hardest times in my life. She isn’t just a dog she is my family.
Casey’s Diagnosis & Urgent Treatment:
Casey has been diagnosed with an aggressive but treatable cancer (subcutaneous haemangiosarcoma). In just one week, her tumour tripled in size, and veterinary specialists have confirmed that urgent life-saving surgery is required. Leaving the tumour untreated is far more dangerous than removing it, and surgery gives Casey the chance to continue living a happy, healthy, long life. Surgery and chemotherapy will be far less painful than leaving it untreated, and she will be much more comfortable while we fight to save her life.
How it Started:
Casey’s journey began with a small lump, which we thought was just a grass seed. Her first appointment quickly revealed something much more serious...
What has been done so far:
- Friday 19th December 2025: Full check-up, needle biopsies, and extra scans — results confirmed aggressive cancer.
- Thursday 8th January 2026: CT scans and blood tests under sedation to prepare for surgery — good news, her tumour can be removed.
- Friday 9th January 2026: Results received and surgery booked. Consultation completed to plan the best approach for Casey’s surgery, including her care and two-week recovery period.
All of these tests, scans, and appointments have been fully funded out of my own pocket, giving Casey the best chance at a long, healthy, and comfortable life. I’ve done everything I can to save her so far, and now I urgently need your help to continue her treatment and give her the care she deserves.
Casey urgently needs:
- Life-saving tumour removal surgery
- Hospitalisation and recovery care (2 weeks)
- Chemotherapy post-recovery (10 sessions at $1,200 per session)
- Ongoing scans, blood tests, medications, and aftercare
Treatment Costs:
- $5,000 PAID — diagnostics (CT scans, bloods, biopsies, specialist appointments)
- $13,000 PAID — urgent tumour removal surgery
- $12,000 — chemotherapy
Goal: $20,000 — Total Cost: $30,000
Coming Up:
- Thursday 15th January 2026: Tumour Removal Surgery
- Thursday 5th February 2026: Starting Chemotherapy
I have taken on these costs myself to save Casey, and now I am asking for your support to help cover her surgery, chemotherapy, and ongoing care. Despite everything, Casey is still full of love. She still greets me with kisses, wags her tail, and trusts me completely to protect her. She doesn’t understand cancer she just knows she’s loved.
