Hello my name is Michelle Gregory and the lady in the picture is my Aunt Vaddy and her husband. She lives in Jamaica and is retired. My aunt underwent surgery for a knee replacement in Jamaica which the family paid for. We thought it was a success shortly after the operation my aunts knee started to swell. My aunt went back to the surgeon who charged her a consultation fee and confirmed the surgery was not successful and another surgery was required but at a cost to herself. During which time my uncle (her husband) was diagnosed with cancer and again as a family we paid for his treatment unfortunately this was not successful and he passed away recently.  As a family we do not have this type of money to help pay for surgery. My aunts leg has now swelled up so much that she can no longer walk. She does not have the money to fund another surgery and as a family we can no longer afford to pay for any treatment. Without surgery she will lose her leg. So I am appealing to anyone that can help us, we are actually hoping to send my aunt to the US for the surgery rather than go back to the surgeon in Jamaica as we have heard stories of this surgeon's botched surgeries.
