Hello, I’m writing this with a heavy heart.

Last night, my 3 year old cat Milo suddenly became very sick and cold to the touch, and was barely able to hold his head up. I rushed him to the emergency hospital, where the vet diagnosed him with a urinary blockage — a life-threatening condition. I was told that if I had waited even one more day, he likely wouldn’t have survived.

Today, I received some news that he was placed in the ICU due to his critical condition. While he has been stabilized, he will need surgery to prevent this from happening in the future and to give him a chance at a normal, healthy life.

The cost of emergency treatment, hospitalization, and surgery is overwhelming, (we were quotes between 10-15k for the final bill) and I’m doing everything I can to help him through this. He means everything to me, if you have a pet, you will understand my pain of potentially loosing him.

Update: (After getting another clinic, the final bill has now reduced to 8k!)
