Thank you for considering our cause. My name is Jeff Meyer and I am the chef owner of Motor City Deli. This has been my dream since I was young and I have put everything that I can into it. We have been struggling for the last 5 years to keep the dream alive. The hurdles of the covid pandemic, as well as our current economic state, and the raising costs of goods and supplies have made it fairly difficult to survive.

I have a great team consisting of 2 employees. Rolando has been with me for two years and is the most incredible person. Vanessa is my other employee that has been with me for a year. They are both incredibly responsible, trustworthy, and hardworking individuals. Both of them Halen to be currently housing insecure. We work very hark 6 days a week to make our customers happy. The fundraiser is not just to save the business, but also to keep them employed and hopefully give them the ability to get off the street.

The funds our team will receive from the Go fund me will help keep the restaurant open and my team employed. We try to give people a chance to better their lives while training them for the future. I don't know what I would do without them.

If we can raise enough funds we would like to find a new location that would bring more business and help us grow faster and survive for years to come. It would also allow us to hire more people that need help in their lives as well, but we need to raise enough in the next 2 months to keep going. Everything I had is in this dream, please help keep Motor City Deli alive!
