Moose is a 5½-year-old black lab who has never met a stranger. He greets everyone at the door with full-body wiggles, a wagging tail, and unconditional love. If you’ve ever met Moose, you know he instantly wins people over, even those who claim they “aren’t dog people.” He is goofy, gentle, and incredibly loyal, and he lives to be by Logun’s side.
Recently, Moose became critically ill after a piece of rubber perforated his intestine, leading to a severe infection and sepsis. He required emergency surgery and is now in the ICU under 24/7 monitoring, with a feeding tube, abdominal drains, and constant veterinary care. The financial cost of saving Moose’s life has been overwhelming. Logun has already exceeded the initial estimate for Moose’s care, and the expenses continue to rise as Moose remains in critical condition. We are reaching out for help so Logun can continue focusing on Moose’s recovery instead of the financial burden.
