Hi, my name is Mahtab, and I’m raising funds for a dear family friend Monu who has been caught in an unfortunate situation. He sustained life changing injuries, and as a result, his life has been profoundly impacted.

Monu is a skilled Zardozi artisan and hand embroidery artist who has dedicated his life to creating intricate, beautiful designs. As the sole breadwinner of his family, his craft is not just his passion, it’s his lifeline.

Tragically, during recent political riots in Bangladesh, Monu became an innocent victim of violence. A bomb exploded near him, severely injuring his hand. He has been in the hospital ever since, fighting to save his arm. Doctors are doing their best, but a major surgery is urgently needed to give him a chance at recovery.

Monu comes from an underprivileged background and cannot afford the costly medical procedures required to save his arm. Without his arm, he will lose not only his ability to work but also the hope of supporting his family and rebuilding his life.

I have personally known Monu since his childhood and this is absolutely a heartbreaking situation. This is a heartbreaking situation, and Monu desperately needs your prayers, kindness, and support. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a significant difference. Together, we can help save Monu’s arm and give him the opportunity to return to his craft and lead a normal life again.
