Monkeys Medical Debt

UPDATE: Monkey is home, fragile with complex needs but happy. I’ve updated the goal to reflect the remaining debt that we’re struggling to pay.
Hello, my name is Benjamin; my girlfriend Juleah and I are fundraising for our 9-month-old pomeranian puppy, Monkey.
Monkey is our 2.5lb crazy little man; he's got quite the personality and absolutely loves Juleah. She's raised him from birth; he was born premature and wasn't expected to survive, but after many sleepless nights, Monkey made it and grew into the sweet, cuddly, and crazy little guy he is.
For Juleah, her animals are her whole life. Raised in an environment filled with them, they were the only escape she had from her traumatic upbringing. An opportunity to provide the love and support that she so desperately needed for another living thing stuck in her situation.
For the past eight years, Juleah has never been without her psychiatric service dog Nala, a beautiful, devoted, slightly-judgemental, 5lb female pomeranian. But as Nala aged, Juleah knew she'd need to start training another dog to replace Nala in service or at least in emotional support, so she made the decision to take on the spunky pup, Nala’s nephew.
I've been lucky enough to know Monkey most of his life now and seen the work she's put into helping him grow into such a great dog, and I'm so grateful to be a part of that. Since Juleah was kicked out of her parents, we’ve both living with mine, working on creating some stability together. I'm a substitute Computer Technician at Hemet Unified School District, and Juleah is an experienced dog groomer and tutor. Things were finally going well until this last Monday.
Monkey was enjoying his free time in the yard when he caught his harness on a fence and suffered a an injury to his leg from the tension, exacerbated by heat exhaustion. Juleah soon found him unresponsive and rushed him to the emergency vet. The poor baby was hurt badly, and things didn't look good. Sleepless nights and late-night calls from the vet followed as we prepared for the worst. But, despite all odds, he's continued to persevere in the ICU, making improvements every day. Monkey has a chance at recovery, but he just needs more time, and we're approaching the limits of how much credit we can access, we can't give up on him, but we need help.
The nature of emergency vet care and the veterinary industry makes it very difficult to find availability and makes this care very expensive. Monkey is incredibly fragile right now and can't afford to go without care for even a short while, so we're stuck between a rock and a hard place; the only option for him is to continue to fund his current ICU stay until he's strong enough to be moved.
Any donations will be used to pay for Monkey's medical care, make payments on his debt, and fund his at-home care once we get to this stage.
We are eternally grateful for any contributions, this is an incredibly difficult time, and Monkey has a long road ahead of him, but with support, he can do it.
