On November 13th my mom passed away, at Saint Bernardine's Medical Center in San Bernardino.

This has been devastating to us, and the earthly challenges we face are much worse.

While my mom was alive she received retirement, which could help with the bills. But her retirement is from CalSTRS, and upon passing it just cuts off, there is a small payout, but it is nothing compared to what it would have been over the next several years of month payments... quite honestly, the payout is less than 3 months of her pay. And again, it helps. But...

As of this "edit" we have passed the amount of money we need for 1 month of bills, bare minimum. And it is greatly appreciated, and I hate asking for more, but I need to keep asking until I get everything settled.

I posted in the last update when we are looking to have a memorial. That is still being planned, will update soon.

So, my mom has not been doing well, as of right now she is in the hospital, and needs a miracle.

I can't provide that, so I am asking for help.

The short of it is, whether she makes it or not, without help my mom will lose her home. I have been helping, but she never let me know how bad it was. Now that I have taken over her bills I know.

Combine that with losing Daphne a few months ago, and we just don't have what we need.

The goal I set here I realize is unrealistic, but it's honest. That is what is needed so that in the best case scenario my mom keeps her home, and in the worst case myself and my kids don't end up homeless.

I have never prioritized money, I personally have no debt, but I simply can't afford my mom's debt. She just gave far more than she could ever afford.

I dislike asking for help, but I need it.
