Mochi, my beloved cat, has suddenly become very ill with an unknown illness. She is not moving, drinking, or eating, and her energy has dropped so much that she barely responds to anything around her. The vet suspects that Mochi may have FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), but more tests and vet trips are needed to confirm this diagnosis. I am incredibly worried, as the vet has told me that a cat who has gone this long without eating or moving is facing a true medical emergency. Unfortunately, despite running some initial tests, the vet still doesn’t know what’s wrong with Mochi and needs to do more in-depth testing to find answers.

The costs for these additional vet trips, tests, bloodwork, and IV fluids are more than I can afford right now. If Mochi is diagnosed with FIP, the treatment for this illness is extremely expensive and will require even more support. Every day that passes without a diagnosis or treatment puts Mochi at greater risk, and I am desperate to do everything I can to help her recover. Mochi is such a special part of my life, and seeing her like this is heartbreaking.
