Help Save Mochi: A Second Chance at Life

Just one week ago, I welcomed a sweet and gentle soul named Mochi into my life. I adopted him from the shelter, excited to give him the loving forever home he so deserved. But soon after bringing him home, it became clear that something was very wrong.

Mochi began struggling to breathe and was rushed to the emergency vet, where he was diagnosed with severe pneumonia and anaemia. Right now, he is in critical condition with only one functioning lung. He is fighting for his life.

Despite his condition, Mochi is still trying. He’s alert, responsive, and showing us he wants to stay. The vet’s believe he has a chance—but only if he continues to receive intensive medical care. Unfortunately, the cost of that care is quickly becoming more than I can afford on my own.

I’m reaching out to ask for help. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward paying for Mochi’s vet bills—hospitalisation, oxygen therapy, medications, and ongoing treatment. Without financial support, I may be forced to consider euthanasia—not because Mochi is beyond saving, but because of the overwhelming cost.

Mochi didn’t deserve to start his new life in pain. He deserves the chance to heal, to play, to feel safe and loved. If you’re able to contribute, you’ll be helping to give this brave little fighter the second chance he’s holding on for.
