My Story with Mocha

Mocha is more than just a pet—he is my family, my heartbeat, and my source of strength. I have had him since he was just two days old, after his mother was tragically hit by a car. A friend found him and brought him to me, and from that moment on, I dedicated myself to his care. I bottle-fed him, ensured he received all his checkups and vaccinations, and watched him grow into the most loving companion.

Two years ago, I made the difficult decision to move to Canada in search of a better future, and there was no question—I brought Mocha with me, despite the challenges. We have been through everything together, and he has been my constant source of hope and comfort during tough times.

Mocha’s Urgent Medical Crisis

At just four years old, Mocha has been battling chronic kidney disease since he was two. Unfortunately, his condition has worsened, and last night, I had to rush him to the hospital. He is in pain, and the doctors say he needs to stay hospitalized until his kidney function improves. The estimated cost of his treatment is between $7,000 and $10,000, an amount far beyond what I can afford as I work and study alone in Canada.
