Hello! Let me introduce myself, my name is Brian Eisner. I am a life long resident of Fond du Lac and have always had a secret dream of owning a small community based business that adds positivity and culture to my community. Since it opened its doors, Mix it Up bakery has been a community staple, offering high quality pastries at a great price. The current owner is looking to sell the bakery and if a buyer isn’t found soon, the bakery may have to close its doors for good. This bakery has great foot traffic and so much potential, and I’m passionate about keeping it open for everyone who enjoys Mix it Up pastries as much as me (and my children!).

The funds I raise will go directly toward a down payment on a small business loan, as well as immediate building and equipment upgrades. I also plan to make important safety and health improvements to ensure the bakery is a welcoming and safe place for both customers and staff. My vision for Mix It Up is to maintain the current pastry offerings that so many people enjoy every day, while also introducing healthier options—like lower sugar pastries and frostings flavored and colored with fruit and vegetable juices and concentrates. My first goal is to improve the ingredients and culture, keeping the business thriving while making positive changes.

With a background in food manufacturing, maintenance, and management, I have the experience needed to lead this bakery into its next chapter. I’ve spent 10 years in maintenance at a cheese production facility and three years managing a distribution center’s maintenance department. I’ve also served on a safety committee, championing numerous improvement projects. I’m ready to bring these skills to Mix It Up, focusing on safety, quality, and community.
