Mittens, my beloved cat, has always been my world and my comfort through the hardest times in my life. Recently, he started losing weight rapidly and was throwing up, so I took him to the vet at VCA. After a difficult experience and a misdiagnosis that led to the wrong medication, Mittens' condition worsened. The vet then recommended another round of tests, but the costs kept increasing unexpectedly.
Desperate to help Mittens, I took him to Holly Vet Clinic, where they discovered his gums had gone pale and he was having trouble breathing. The emergency department was kind enough to help me prioritize his care. Mittens is not just a pet—he is my son, my everything. He helped me get through my mom's death and my brother's overdose just days later. I have already spent so much on his care, and the costs keep adding up with blood panels and x-rays.
I am doing everything I can, selling my valuables and going to pawn stores to raise money, but I need help to save Mittens. His doctor, Dr. Yong, believes he has a long life ahead if he gets the care he needs. I can provide all quotes, receipts, and vet information for anyone who wants to help directly. Please, any support makes a difference. If you can't donate, please share our story with others. Thank you for taking the time to read about Mittens and for any support you can give. His brother needs him as much as I do.
