Hi, my name is Kayla, and I’m 21 years old. I work as a hotel housekeeper and share a home with my boyfriend and our four beloved cats. One of them, Miss Leela, has recently been diagnosed with primary glaucoma. Sadly, we don’t have the funds right now to get her the treatment she urgently needs.

At this point, only one of her eyes can still be saved — the other has already been severely affected. You can see the difference in the photos. She's clearly in pain, and it's heartbreaking to feel helpless while she suffers.

We’re doing everything we can. My boyfriend is the head of household after the recent loss of his father, now caring for his younger siblings full-time. We both work hard, but between bills and supporting his family, we simply can’t afford Leela’s treatment on our own. Our pet insurance has turned out to be basically useless.

Leela is part of a very special little family: she’s the sister of Hybrid and Blinker, and the daughter of Domino — all of them shown in the pictures. She’s the only one of her siblings losing her vision, and it’s crushing to watch her struggle while the others play and explore like normal.

We are trying to save from every paycheck and look into payment plans, but we’re falling short, and we don’t want to run out of time to save her remaining eye.

If you can spare even a few dollars, it would mean the world to us. It would be used towards her doctor visits/ surgery. And if you can’t donate, sharing this with others would still be a huge help.
