My precious furbaby, Miso, was rushed to the emergency vet yesterday and is now in critical condition. She has a 50% chance of surviving the next 48 hours. Her heart is failing, and her lungs are rapidly filling with blood and fluid—making it feel as though she’s drowning every time she tries to breathe. She's currently in an oxygen tank under constant watch for cardiac arrest and lung failure.

Miso was diagnosed with early-stage congestive heart failure last year, but this sudden crisis has escalated faster than I expected. In less than 7 hours, her vet bill has already surpassed $10,000 and continues increase.

I rarely ask for help, especially financially, but I am doing everything I can to fight for her life. Miso has been my emotional anchor, my comfort, my best friend, my daughter, and my support through the hardest times, including now as I face a possible recurrence of breast cancer. I’ve been in and out of the hospital the past few weeks, and it’s overwhelming to go through both of these crises at once.

I’m currently writing this from the Vet ER, heartbroken, scared, and desperate. If you are able to help, in any amount, it would mean the world to me and could give Miso a fighting chance.
