Mischa is only 3 years old - strong, healthy, and full of love. But she was recently diagnosed with bone cancer. We’ve already spent over $5,000 on vet bills this week alone, and the surgery and chemotherapy needed to save her leg and her life will cost more than $20,000.
There’s still hope to save Mischa - her young age and the cancer not spreading to her lungs mean she could live many more years, but we need your help to make it happen.
How You Can Make a Difference
Please consider donating - every little bit counts.
Sharing this post with your friends and family would mean the world to us.
If funds raised exceed or fall short of Mischa’s treatment costs, we will either donate the surplus or return the money, ensuring any excess supports charities helping dogs with cancer.
A Personal Note
My oldest daughter said, “Daddy, you always help people without expecting anything back. People will help.”
I’m hoping she’s right.
If you’ve met Mischa on our walks, you know how loved she is. It breaks my heart to think she might not make it when she could be saved.
This week has been especially hard - our pug, Oscar, had emergency surgery and lost his eye. We’re grateful he’s alive. It’s been a tough time, almost a year since we lost our beloved lab mix, Ben, who lived for 16 wonderful years.
We know times are difficult; I recently gave $500 to a family member in need. But I’m asking for help now because Mischa’s life depends on it.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and generosity.
