My name is Mireya Bautista, and today I’m reaching out with the vulnerability of someone who truly needs a helping hand to keep fighting for her life. Recently, my health took a painful and unexpected turn: I was diagnosed with stomach cancer.

At the moment, a tumor is blocking my duodenum, which completely prevents food from passing into my body.

My daily reality has become a constant battle. I’m unable to eat solid foods, and sadly even the liquids I try to drink often come back up through frequent vomiting. This has caused rapid weight loss and a critical drop in my hemoglobin levels, leaving me weaker each day. I also have only one kidney, which is now starting to be affected due to dehydration and the overall strain on my body.

Doctors have determined that I urgently need surgery to remove the obstruction. Without this operation, my body cannot receive the nutrients it needs to fight the cancer or stabilize my vital organs. This surgery is the first and most urgent step needed to save my life.

Unfortunately, the medical costs for a procedure of this magnitude, along with the necessary supplies and post-surgery care, are far beyond what my family and I can afford.
