Help Mila Breathe Again: A Life-Saving Surgery for a Precious Rescue

In 2019, I rescued Mila in Morocco. She was one of my first rescued dogs, a healthy and happy junior with so much life ahead of her.

But at just two years old, Mila started showing troubling symptoms. Her left nostril became blocked, and she struggled to breathe. What began as a small issue soon escalated into a life-threatening condition.

I sought help from some of the best veterinarians across Morocco - in Casablanca, Tangier, Rabat, and Fes. A reputable clinic in Fes suspected Mila had an ulcer in her nasal passage, which could potentially develop into a tumor. The diagnosis was devastating, but even more heartbreaking was the reality: no clinic in Morocco could perform the surgery Mila needed to save her life.

For years, I’ve searched for a foster home for Mila in Europe, where she could receive the medical attention she so desperately needs. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find anyone to take her in. With Mila’s condition worsening recently, I made the decision to take matters into my own hands. I left the shelter in Morocco and traveled to Germany where I will foster Mila myself. I’m bringing Mila to my home country, where she’ll finally have access to advanced veterinary care.

In Germany, Mila will undergo thorough diagnostics and the surgery she’s needed for so long. This surgery is her only chance at a healthy, happy life, but it comes with a significant cost. Mila’s medical journey will be expensive, and as much as I want to bear this burden alone, I can’t do it without your help.

Mila has always been a fighter, and now I’m asking you to join her fight. Together, we can give her the life she deserves - a life free from pain and full of love.
