Hi friends, family, and fellow cat lovers,

We never imagined we’d be writing this.

Our beloved Meow Cat Café has suffered severe and unexpected damage. This has forced us to make the incredibly difficult decision to close for at least a week to ensure the safety of our staff, our cats, and our customers.

The timing couldn’t be worse.

In a world where the cost of living and doing business has soared, we’ve already been fighting tooth and claw just to stay afloat. Now, with this sudden and costly setback, we’re at risk of losing everything we’ve built—and the safe, happy home we’ve created for our cats and community.

While our doors are closed, there is no income—but the bills don’t stop:

Staff still need to be paid.

Our cats still need food, vet care, and clean litter.

Rent, stock, business rates, and utilities still need to be covered.

We are heartbroken. Not just for ourselves, but for our cats, who rely on us—and for our wonderful community, who rely on us for comfort, joy, and the purring kind of therapy that only a cat can give.
