McGuire’s Tragedy

For generations, McGuire’s has been more than just a restaurant—it’s been a part of Wamac’s heart and soul. First as Gheradini’s, then Jono’s, and for the past 12 years as McGuire’s, lovingly run by the Thompson's and Erika Ryan. It’s a place where strangers become family, where moms can breathe a little easier knowing their kids are welcome, and where friends gather to celebrate life’s moments, big and small.

But now, McGuire’s needs us.

As many of you know, McGuire’s has been devastated by a fire, leaving the interior in ruins.

Tragically, not only was everything inside lost, but McGuire’s did not have loss of income insurance, leaving the business and its dedicated staff without financial support. The hardworking employees who poured their hearts into this establishment are now without an income, facing an uncertain future.
