Help Save Max & Provide Vital Support for Other Street Pets

Help save Max! And while I'm at it, get a couple of abandoned puppies and a perpetual mama cat vaccinated and spayed!

Max is approximately 7 years old and one of the sweetest street dogs I have ever met. He spends his days hanging out at the school across the street from me with the little kids, who are in love with him. In return for pets and food, Max teaches the students that street dogs deserve love and care too!

When I took Max to be neutered a few weeks ago in the spay and neuter clinic put on here in Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala by Fantasma and FarVets, we discovered that he has an easily treatable venereal disease that is all too common in the un-spayed/neutered population here. If Max does not receive treatment, he will eventually die a slow and painful death, which he just doesn't deserve!

In addition to Max, two tiny puppies were recently found (one dumped on a hiking trail at only ~3 weeks old and another found with her dead mama). I would like to help get these two sweet girls vaccinated and spayed so they can be adopted to loving homes (I will cover the other costs associated with getting them healthy - food, mange treatment, parasite treatment, transport, etc.). There is also a sweet mama cat that hangs out in my neighbor's yard and keeps having litters of kittens in their bushes. They have befriended her and we hope to get her spayed and vaccinated in the next sterilization clinic here.

The cost to save Max is about $350.

The cost to spay and vaccinate the puppies and kitty is about $150 ($50 each).

So, I am asking for $525 to cover these costs and the fees associated with using GoFundMe. If we raise any extra, 100% of the money will go directly to helping the many dogs in need here (I can think of at least 3 other horrendous stories ranging from mangled broken legs to ropes tied around necks so embedded it needs to be surgically removed). Myself and the many other dog/cat lovers around here provide countless hours and funds to help all the deserving pets in need here. If you can help us fund some of these things, it just means we can help more!
