Max is my beloved 2-year-old puppy, and he means the world to me. Recently, Max became very ill after an unfriendly neighbor put out poison for animals that stray onto her property. It is heartbreaking to see him suffer and not be his happy self. After rushing him to the vet, I learned he would need abdominal surgery to survive if the doctor is correct in her analysis. Right now, Max is on different medications, but his surgery is scheduled within the next couple of weeks pending what is found through x-rays and a ultrasound exam. The doctor has given me the costs to start and the overall outlook, these estimates are overwhelming, and without the your help, I may be forced to surrender Max to the state, depending on the damage found and the expenses involved. I can't imagine the thought of losing him, especially when he still has so much love and life to give. The funds raised will go to Max's surgery and medical care so he can stay by my side for a very long time.
